• Harewood House

Major extensive refurbishment of the external and internal timber windows, including glazed lanterns and roof lights, to this extremely popular 18th Century Yorkshire visitor venue. All works were undertaken to the exacting requirements of the local Conservation Officer along with working closely with the House Management team and Architect.

Works were undertaken whilst the house was open to the public and close coordination with the House management was imperative.

“Throughout the project Dobsons have demonstrated high levels of care and attention, working closely with our Collections and House Conservation team to ensure that the fabric and contents of the House are protected and to enable us to keep the House open to the public throughout. Dobsons have also had to work closely with the Harewood team to plan around key dates including exhibition periods and private events.
“The quality of the work is of a high standard and has met our expectations. Dobsons have devised innovative solutions to enable work to continue in the public areas while open to the public.”
